I am a huge fan of hoverboards – I really think electric vehicles like that are the future of transportation – so I couldn’t help myself but buy two models, honestly, because I just couldn’t decide between the two.
The first I got was from EPIKGO Sport Series – a racer hoverboard for speed. Who has the need? I do! It also has got race car wheels with blacked out rims and looks roaring! Number 2 is a Halo Rover – this one’s for off-roading. I actually looked through all these different contraptions, and the two I decided I wanted to play with: Halo Rover and EPIKGO Racer. One is for speed, and the other one’s for off-road.
WHAT I FOUND IN THE BOX
In the box of the Halo Rover I found a carrying case and a strap, so just imagine throwing your hoverboard around your shoulder, taking it to school, like the cool kids do. It also has monster truck tires. On the bottom, you can also find some speakers. The volume of those can get pretty disturbing for the other people, so I call this a good thing.
Now, I had a friend over and did some races – the speed one was the clear winner. It’s actually the fastest hoverboard I put my feet on and trust me, I put my feet on a lot.
But when in rougher conditions, such as climbing ramps, climbing off the sidewalk, and even on gravel or snow, the monster truck Halo Rover was the one. It was actually doing a fabulous job.
In the end, it really depends on what you need. What I can tell you is that they both work better than I expected. Sturdy build, I had no problems whatsoever, and the battery life was close to the declared one, so I can only recommend them. Now you just have to choose the one that fits your needs. I really hope you found something useful here.
